This is Cris's EF civic. This car looks like it was left in a time capsule from 1990. Now Cris is a man who pays attention to detail, for example he didnt just slap on the rear lip. He went out and sourced a whole JDM bumper and filler. (at the time of this shoot his filler was in the paint shop getting fixed and painted). You might wonder why it isn't kissing the ground like any other dumped cars. Well thats because he drives this car to work. You see his commute consist of a 1hr drive and awhole lot of speed bumps and pot holes.
What make this car ticks. Its running a JDM ITR engine with Toda valve springs and spec B cams. Port and polish job done by LDL speedshop in Las Vegas Nevada. Engine management done by Apexi power FC. Transferring the power to the ground is a YS1 cable transmission with a Kaaz lsd diff on 4.7:1 final drive. Holding up the car are a set of Integra GSR suspension and brakes.
Attention to details. Cris is running a complete JDM Civic Sir interior. But being JDM, means the driver controls are on the right side of the car. He sourced out some UK stuff. Such as controls for his power windows. Speedo cluster is in MPH due to that. You might ask why not use a JDM Cluster. Well if you drive everyday, it gets old trying to guess your speed when theres cops around. And believe me where he works theres plenty. |
