Almost ready to run! So Matt got some more work done. He buttoned up the engine bay, Hooked up the gas lines, brake lines. He hit a little snag getting the fuel pump to turn on. But after swapping the fuse box under the hood, he got it working. I did had to help him diagnose the problem. Just too bad the timing belt cover is missing. So if anyone has an extra one they would like to part with please contact us. I think the next time he works on the car it will be ready to start. Hopefully no issues comes up. Once the car is running Matt plans on doing body work and getting it ready for paint. But at the same time school just started and I think we need to find a shop space to be able to do more work since winter is just around the corner.
Time to crawl under the car and change the fuel lines and brake lines. Before I stored the car 10 years ago I swapped out the drum brakes to disc brakes, but when I found out I was having a kid I stopped working on the car. Many times the thought comes to my mind to sell the car. But after being in the family since 1987 I just can't part with it.

Matt had a short day since he still had homework to do. So he left the car like this. Noticed he had to remove the water bottles again, we had to. He was trying to figure out why the fuel pump wasn't turning on. Turns out it was a bad fuse box inthe engine compartment. Thank god we had a working parts car to rob parts from.
